Where will our sessions take place?
Family and maternity sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or outdoors at a location of your choice — think Fagan Park, Royal Botanic Gardens, Balmoral Beach, and so many more beautiful spots around Sydney. Not sure where to go? I'm happy to suggest the perfect location for you! We can chat through all the options together. 😊
Newborn sessions are held at our cosy studio, where we have wraps, props, and beautiful lighting all ready to go. All you need to do is show up — we'll take care of everything else. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy those precious early moments with your little one. 🤍
We also offer in-home newborn sessions, which are a gorgeous and intimate option! We love shooting in the nursery, master bedroom, or living room. And please — don't worry about the house being a mess. You just had a baby, and that's absolutely okay! I'll work around your space, move a few things out of frame, and even rearrange furniture to chase the best light. I'll always put everything back exactly as I found it! The only thing I'll ask is that your bed is made with a neutral quilt or comforter — it makes for the most beautiful, snuggly family photos. 😊
How do I choose my photos?
No stressing over this — we've got it covered! After your session, we'll carefully curate and select the very best images, edit them with love, and deliver them straight to your online gallery. You can expect your fully edited photos to be ready within four weeks of your session. 😊
Do you charge for travel?
We're based in the Hills, Sydney and happily cover the greater Sydney metropolitan area with no additional travel fee. For locations more than 20km from the Hills District, a small travel fee may apply — we'll always discuss this with you upfront so there are no surprises.
For destination sessions outside of Australia, all travel expenses including flights and accommodation will be covered by the client. We'd love to chat if you have something special in mind! ✈️
Bookings & payments
How do I book a session?
Booking is simple! Once you've decided on your session, a $100 deposit is required to secure your date and time. Reach out via the contact page and we'll get everything sorted for you. 😊
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a $100 deposit is required to confirm your booking. This ensures your chosen date and time is reserved just for you!
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
We completely understand that life (and Sydney weather!) can be unpredictable. Rescheduling is available for weather-related reasons at no extra charge — we'll find a new date that works for you. Please note that deposits are non-refundable in the case of a cancellation.
Sessions
How long does a session take?
Family sessions run for approximately 1 hour. Newborn sessions are a little more flexible in timing — we never rush these, as every baby is different and we want to make sure we capture the most beautiful moments for you.
How many edited photos will I receive?
The number of edited images varies depending on your chosen package, with most packages delivering between 15–25 beautifully edited photos. Check out our packages page for full details!
Can I request specific poses or shots?
Absolutely! You're more than welcome to share any inspiration or specific shots you'd love. I'll do my best to make it happen, and I'll also guide you through plenty of ideas on the day. 😊
Newborn
When should I book my newborn session?
We recommend booking your newborn session during your pregnancy, as spots fill up quickly! Newborns are best photographed in the first 2 weeks of life, so having everything locked in ahead of time means one less thing to think about once your little one arrives. 🤍
What should I bring to the studio?
Feel free to bring along anything meaningful to your family — ultrasound photos, engagement or wedding rings, a special plushie, or any sentimental keepsake you'd love to include in the images. These little personal touches make the photos truly yours.
What if my baby is unsettled during the session?
Please don't stress — this is completely normal, and we are in absolutely no rush! There is always plenty of time built into the session for feeding, settling, cuddles, and everything in between. We go at your baby's pace, always. 🤍
Delivery
In what format will I receive my photos?
Your edited photos will be delivered as digital files via a beautiful online gallery, making it easy to view, download, and share your images with loved ones.
Can I print my photos?
Of course! Your digital files are print-ready, so you can print them whenever and wherever you like. We also offer fine art albums and heirloom packages if you'd love a professionally printed keepsake — just ask! 😊
